I was born and raised in Vancouver and come from a family that has been involved in real estate here and in Hong Kong for many years. I love connecting with people on a personal level to create a strong and trusting partnership with my clients. Using my fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese and keeping in mind the many cultural differences in lifestyle and business practices that exist between individuals, I strive to develop valuable and genuine connections with people that turn into lifelong relationships. I passionately represented Canada in the sport of Badminton at international competitions such as the World Junior Championships and Youth Commonwealth Games. Being across the court from some athletes where sport was their only option to make a living, it was an eye-opener to see their hunger and desire to win. One memorable experience I recall is when I represented BC at the 2011 Canada Winter Games, it was my first time being around high-level athletes from various sports, all competing in the same competition. The dedication, commitment, competitiveness, and passion among all the athletes were on full display from preparation through to recovery. The journey of becoming a national level athlete includes many highs and lows, but my familiarity with that has led me to develop a strong, positive mindset to understand that tough times don’t last, tough people do. The athlete side of me often shows in my personality and I naturally relate it to real estate - I strongly believe in having a partnership with my clients, from working alongside them at the beginning of their journey, to discovering what impact this purchase or sale will have on their lives and those of their family. The smiles and pure joy on my clients’ faces when we reach the mutual goal that we set together at the start of the journey is the reason why I love being a Realtor; it is like winning the championship together. I truly do believe in being more than a Realtor and every journey is different.
